Testimony Tueday!

God is so awesome. I am so thankful for the gift of grace that He gives my undeserving heart every single day. I thank God that he kept dealing with my heart to accept him when I was 16 years old. I am so thankful that He doesn't move. He is my firm foundation. I am so thankful that He sent his one and only son to die for me so that His blood would cover my sin. I thank Him for blessing me with such a wonderful husband. I am so thankful that when everything is a mess in this life that He is still there and faithful promising not to put more on me than I can handle. I thank Him for remembering that I was made from dust.

**What are you thankful for today??**

"Not because of who I am,
But because of what you've done.
Not because of what I've done,
But because of who you are."

Meet the Wood Pile

Rebel, Me and Andi, our kitten Clyde, and Me and the Hubs!

Some Random Tuesday Thoughts

I just got word that the girl I had asked prayers for gets out of the hospital sometime today! Yep, no surgery was needed. We serve such an awesome God! Please continue to pray for her.

*Just some random thoughts*

*I am ready for the weekend!
*I am def ready for 5:30 so that I can leave work
*My husband is the greatest
*It sure is hot outside and I am ready for some good old Georgia Winter
*I gotta figure out how to load some pics on a blog post so people can see me and the fam
*I get to see my brother and nephew next week. They live in Indiana. (That situtation needs some serious prayers!)
*I dont even know why I started a blog. I am horrible at it :)
*I wish I could speed our ages up so that we can go over to China and adopt.

That's about all that is on my mind right now. Boring I know, but here is a verse that I will leave you with today. It is a verse that I love to cling to when things aren't going so hot...

Isaiah 43:2-3

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;"

Prayer Request!

I do not know if anyone acutally reads this blog, but I have a prayer request. One of our youth is 17 and she is pregnant. She thinks that she is 5 months along but she has not been to the DR yet. Anyway, I got a phone call on Friday night that they had to take her to the ER because she was cramping and vomiting. When I walked into the ER the poor thing was practically climing the walls she was in so much pain. After a serious of tests, they discovered that she has gallstones. The Doctor told her she was pretty young to be having them. Anyway, they admitted her into the hospital and they said that if her gallbladder has not shrunk by today that they were going to have to do surgery.

Please pray for her. Pray for a quick healing and no surgery to have to be done. Also pray that the baby stays safe. As of Friday night when they did the ultra sound the baby was fine. This youth has been through so much in her life and she truly is an inspiration to me.

Things every preachers wife should own

1. A tanning bed (Lord knows that with all the stuff going on in the church you will never have time to layout)
2. A personal secretary (Sure the preachers get them but come on! A man always relys on his wife to keep him on his toes with appts and such. I can't remember it all people!)
3. A time share in the mountains. (at the spur of a moment...we could wanna get away!)
4. A house keeper and lawn person (See for the reason why at number 1)
5. A paycheck to come in even when you can't go to work because you want to do things at the church. (Man that would be nice!)

I really do love being a preachers wife. It def has been a challenge. I didn't think it would be this hard, but man it is. The blessing in the end though is such a reward. It is my other full time job and you def have to be called to be in this position. I knew at the age of 13 I was going to be a preachers wife. I use to always admire the ones that I have had in my life. Please lift your preachers wife up today in prayer and just remember that behind every great man is a wonderful woman!!
