What has the world come too?

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,569121,00.html?test=latestnews

Do these people not realize that King James was not a Christian? They need to read into their stuff deeper before they go saying that the other Bibles are a "perversion". It's people like this that are so legalistic that turn people off from church. I have always heard it said that if you want a good fight just go to church. Those words are awful but so true. You have people arguing over the color carpet (churches outside of the US have dirt floors). Arguing over the temperature being too hot or too cold(other countries are the same temp inside and outside the building). Arguing over what the preacher wears...We wonder why we don't see miracles today. Are we really having true faith in God and believing or are we just wasting are time arguing over stupid stuff. Christians in the US are so spoiled.

Being in the Bible belt, good ole Georgia, I have heard it from so many people you need to wear a dress to church or a suit. Guys I dont even own a dress. I joke with my husband when he has to do a wedding or a funeral, "Well I guess we need to go buy you an outfit huh?" We recently had a guy walk into our church who was as drunk as a skunk. I walked in the back door of the church and was just overcome with the smell of alcohol and I thought to myself, "Praise God!" Ya'll its people like that that we need to be reaching out too. He was so nervous being there but he was def loved on and accepted. I am just so sick and tired of Christians putting such a black eye on Christ. Its time for churches nowadays not to worry whether or not a Bible says the instead of thou and start getting people saved. Its just going to be a matter of time before Christ comes back. Then whats going to be are excuse for not witnessing??

Love this Hymn...thanks Christy!

In Christ Alone

In Christ alone my hope is foundHe is my light, my strength, my songThis Cornerstone, this solid groundFirm through the fiercest drought and stormWhat heights of love, what depths of peaceWhen fears are stilled, when strivings ceaseMy Comforter, my All in AllHere in the love of Christ I stand

In Christ alone, who took on fleshFullness of God in helpless babeThis gift of love and righteousnessScorned by the ones He came to save‘Til on that cross as Jesus diedThe wrath of God was satisfiedFor every sin on Him was laidHere in the death of Christ I live

There in the ground His body layLight of the world by darkness slainThen bursting forth in glorious DayUp from the grave He rose againAnd as He stands in victorySin’s curse has lost its grip on meFor I am His and He is mineBought with the precious blood of Christ

It's just a minor sprain...

Said the EMT at the football game...haha yeah right!! I wish that was the case!!

What a crazy week. A week ago I went to watch our local high schools football game. They were playing the rival of the city! We won of course but any who... We decided to leave 4th quarter to beat the crazy and traffic and what do I do you may ask? I slid down this tiny small grasy slope. I would have taken the stairs but nooooo. It wa sto crowded with teeny boppers!! the only person that saw me fall was a police officer. He in turn got the emt who told me it was just a minor sprain. That was the start of my horrible night! After being hauled out on a golf cart (how humilitaing!) We noticed that my uncle had left his lights on. Hence why the car wouldnt start. After that we went to my husbands fathers house to pick up some crutches. When we were there the power went out. We left his house and got down the road (Its a one way out and in street) and some alabama redneck decided to hit a light pole, knock down power lines, and ditch the car. We sat until 1am...

Fast forward to Saturday...I went to the er because I knew something wasn't quit right and I found out that I had broken my Fibula and cracked one side. Monday I went to the orthopedic where low and behold I found out that I would have to have surgery!! WHAT!! I have never had a stitch in my life! More less get hacked into!! The surgery went wonderfully. I now have 8 screws, a plate, and 14 staples.

So that was what happened with my "minor sprain". Silly EMT's!!
